Another birthday and ebay tips...

I really enjoy making my cards as you can personaise them so easily, heres a good example....

I used a striking font that I downloaded ages ago, simply printed onto some more brown card and wrapped up in a peice of craft paper for the envelope, simple as that. Took me maybe 10 mins altogether!

Also, this week I've been clearing out some stuff on ebay. I sell quite a bit on ebay (it's my day job - I manage a couple of sites) and know how much it costs to post items. So it infuriates me when sellers charge extortionate P+P claiming that packaging materials are expensive.

I sent a cardigan a lady had bought off me today and all I needed to wrap it up safely and securely was an old plastic bag, some wide tape and a small peice of paper. All of these things you normaly have already and save you having to fork out on new uneccessary materials... it means I only charged her the actual postage cost and no more - something that is important to buyers on ebay, as so many sellers try to make a profit on postage.

So save all of your envelopes, jiffy bags and bubble wrap so you dont have to buy it!!

  1. Very good ebay packaging idea. I am one of those idiots who charges to much, not because I'm a meany but because I'm a little stupid and havn't checked the Royal Mail website properly. Just go by what other people charge. I promise to do better :)
