That Time of Year!

It's my Daddy's Birthday and this year I have taken inspiration from my recent sign-making for the fairs and created a typographical design. I also made some chocolate truffles for him to scoff....I made quite a bit of the mixture so Tom and me can have some too...mwahahaha!

these were really very simple to make, I used a recipe from BBC Good Food Website. To make about 50 you will need:
- 284ml double cream
- 50g unsalted butter
- 280g darkchocolate (they say min 70% cocoa solids, but I used standard 45%)

1. Bring the butter and cream to simmering point on the hob.
2. Chop up all the chocolate quite small and put into a large bowl
3. Pour the cream and melted butter on to the chocolate and stir it all up until all smooth and lovely
4. Stick your finger in to test it!
5. Let it cool and then pop in the fridge to chill for at least 4hrs
6. Once cooled spoon out into balls and roll around in nuts, cocoa powder or whatever you fancy!
