Catch Up

I actually began this challenge at the beginning of July, and am pleased to say its been going rather well. I am making a concious effort to buy less of everything, checking packaging on food, and was super pleased to find out that we can now put plastic bottles and food trays in our recycling box. Sorry, a bit off course there...my other hobby is recycling, it really aint that hard, so do it!

Anyway, at the start of July I went on my first ever Girls Holiday to Denmark. There was Las Vegas themed party planned for Rach's birthday, I needed a dess pronto! Totally uninspired by what I already had (there was nothing Vegas worthy), I took a baggy H&M maternity top (it was in the sale!) that has a geometric print going on. Off came the sleeves and in came the waist, it turned out hella better than I expected and did the job nicely!

Sorry theres no before pic, didnt think I would be sharing all this when I was sewing...but from now on everything will have a before and after!
